Situated on the shore of the wild Åkrafjord, surrounded by the majestic steep mountains of Folgefonna National Park, this spacious cottage in the village of Fjæra invites you to a sensual vacation in the spirit of nature. The former farmhouse with its own jetty is a perfect fit for the larger group of hiking enthusiasts who want to explore Folgefonna National Park. Here you will find everything you need for a carefree vacation. Make yourself comfortable on the gray corner sofa with Uno after a long day. In the evening you can grill freshly caught fish from the fjord or the nearby river on the terrace and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. From your own shoreline you have a breathtaking view over the narrow, glittering fjord surrounded by mountains. Here you can fish all day, but remember to take a little break with a nice swim in the fresh fjord water.

In the surrounding area there are good hiking opportunities and a via ferrata, also called via ferrata. The via ferrata is one of the longest and highest routes in Scandinavia. Also experience the Langfossen waterfall, which is one of the 10 most beautiful waterfalls in the world with a drop of 612 meters. The area also borders the Folgefonna and Hardangervidda National Parks, which provide a starting point for an adventurous vacation with numerous nature experiences.
