Welcome to the Can Comes estate, which is a reflection of the oft-cited authentic Mallorca. The stonework of the venerable building betrays the villa's former agricultural use, which has been lovingly converted into a modern country house by the friendly owner. Nevertheless, the enchanting tradition of the past shines through again and again in the design of the property and the furnishings with antique memorabilia. The size of the property alone is breathtaking: 140,000 m² of land for visitors means absolute tranquillity and the luxury of being able to spend your holiday with friends or family without having to worry about neighbours. Majestic olive trees and various fruit trees, whose shade makes for lovely seating areas, surround the house with its extensive grounds, which include a children's playground and a volleyball court. In addition, sheep, goats, chickens, tortoises and a horse, always well looked after by the owner, create a wonderful rural atmosphere. Next to the house is a beautifully designed pool area, consisting of a large pool with intricate inlays and a sun terrace with permanently installed bamboo parasols, which create a touch of Caribbean feeling while napping on the ergonomically shaped loungers. There are two covered terraces in total. One is right next to the house and is furnished with attractive wicker furniture and vintage tables. Here you can spend an afternoon playing games among the fragrant bougainvilleas. The absolute highlight for outdoor fans is probably the high-quality outdoor kitchen, which is newly furnished and even has a TV. Here you can sit in the cool lounge or at the long dining table and enjoy dishes prepared on the brick barbecue. A lounge with adjoining dining area creates a very cosy atmosphere, which you can enjoy in the bright sofa area in front of the fireplace. The rustic kitchen, which has retained its authentic flair with an original ceramic sink, a former open fireplace and hand-painted tiles, is also tastefully presented. Despite the rustic character, you will also find modern comforts here, of which the large gas hob is just one example. The house has a total of 5 bedrooms spread over two levels. Some of them have an earthy touch that matches the age of the house. There are three ultra-modern bedrooms on the upper floor. The bed sizes vary between single and double beds and are between 90 and 110 cm as well as 135 and even 150 cm in French size. Attractively designed bathrooms with bath or shower lend the cosy interior of the pretty farmhouse a pleasant, natural feel.
The location of the villa is phenomenal, as it is close to Manacor, one of the largest towns on the island, whose name translates as "hand on heart". This is a wonderful place to shop, not only for your daily needs, but also for an evening barbecue.
