Aarnitupa is a well-equipped and cozy log villa in Taivalkoski, situated on the shores of the clear-watered and fish-rich Lake Kylmäluoma.
Child-friendly, peaceful sandy beaches, adjacent to the fish-rich wilderness ponds of the Kylmäluoma hiking area, hiking trails with campfire sites, and the authentic locations from Kalle Päätalo's books ensure a successful vacation for families, fishermen, hunters, and other travelers.
The cabin is a traditional planed log cabin that radiates warmth and coziness. It is insulated and paneled inside, creating a cozy atmosphere.
On the ground floor, there is a living room with a sofa bed for relaxation. The kitchen is equipped with necessary utensils and appliances for preparing delicious meals. There is also a bedroom downstairs with a double bed, providing a peaceful place to rest. Furthermore, the ground floor includes a sauna with a wood-burning sauna stove, a bathroom, and a separate WC.
On the upper floor, there is another spacious bedroom with both a double bed and two single beds. This upper floor space is suitable for families or groups of friends who wish to share accommodation. Please note that the stairs leading to the upper floor are quite steep.
Outside the cabin, you will find a carport that provides shelter for your vehicle. There is also a fence with a dog house, allowing you to bring your pet on vacation (additional fee). Aarnitupa was built in 1991. Accommodation includes, among other things, a rowing boat and firewood for the fireplace and sauna (reasonable amount). Free 4G Wi-Fi also enables remote work. Bed linen is provided pre-made.
Fishing is allowed on the lake without a separate permit in the owner's water area (however, those aged 18-69 must pay the fishery management fee, see https://management-fee.html).
