My hometown Lyttelton is a lively community with a working port just 20 m inter from Christchurch and 30 minutes from the airport. But above all, it provides access to 30+ km hiking & biking at your doorstep, secluded beaches, surfing beaches not far away, unique shopping, cafes and restaurants. Check out my guideGetting aroundLyttelton is just a small village, but you can come and stay without a car and find within 5 minutes walking distance good restaurants, basically a different one for every day of the week. You also find good bars, coffee shops, supermarket and other you need to enjoy a wonderful week. There is also a public bus connecting Lyttelton with Christchurch. Finding your way to Lyttelton Boatique House as you exit the tunnel turn right around the round about, follow the road until you reach the very first house perched on the left. Park your car in front of the front door half on the foot path and half on the road, unload then kindly park your car in front of the house on Godley Quay. If you have a larger vehicle you may want to consider to park your car down in the Marina car park, it is just a minute away and all parking is free. Enjoy!!!
